An interest in clay animation brought Steve to the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California where he received a second BA in Cinematography in 1983. In addition, he received a diploma from the Goethe Institute in Radolfzell, Germany and spent two years traveling and working in Western Europe where he was exposed to Europe’s abundance of museums and public art. Steve has been sculpting ceramic masks, portraits and abstract wall sculptures since the mid-1980’s and has shown his art in galleries throughout the Pacific Northwest and Southern California. Steve currently works out of his studio located on Fox Island, Washington and is accepting commissions. Our Favorite Links
